Wedding Bliss in Portsmouth NH

Last weekend I had the privilege of capturing Abby & Brett's breathtaking wedding day in Portsmouth New Hampshire. Some of my favorite aspects surrounding this day included quite moments with Abby as she prepared to say I do & being able to shoot in one of the most historical buildings in Portsmouth, The Moffatt-Ladd House & Gardens.

Days like this one are a dream, I don't think I could have taken a bad photo, it was THAT amazing. Abby & Brett, you two are some of the most laid back, funny & kind people I have ever met, thank you for putting your memories into my hands, it was a pure pleasure.

The quiet moments truly get me. Most of the time I am tearing up behind my camera as I watch emotions race across a brides face while reading a heartfelt note from her soon to be husband. It makes for some pretty remarkable images, time really is standing still here & even looking back I get a bit misty.

The garden at The Maffatt-Ladd house are stunning & you can feel the deep history the second you step onto the property. I recommend that everyone stops for a gander & history lesson if your travels bring you to Portsmouth.
